Versace Man Eau Fraiche
My kid's sick. Im probably not leaving the house today. The only thing I need to do today is workout. (Friday = leg day) So I didn't put much thought into my SOTD. Grabbed something easy to wear, and good for sweating with. Hard to beat Man Eau Fraiche for a no-brainer gym frag. Fresh, bright, citrus, aromatic, woodsy with that unique starfruit note on top. Haven't worn it in a few months. Almost forgot how great it is.

Underrated scent, especially for the price. Hopefully your kid feels better!
SOTD:  Jazz Club by Maison Margiela 27/02/2026
Both my sample and decant of this have been used up and needed to be replaced. It normally retails in these parts for €150 a bottle, so when I came across it for only €100 I knew it was time to pull the trigger. An edt from 2013, that as it happens was created by by Favourite perfumer Alienor Massenet. It used to be a strong contender for the Number 3 spot in my collection, but has since been pushed down to 7th place and is holding firmly.Boozy, Smoky, and Sweet, Jazz Club is a woody/amber fragrance blending traditionally masculine notes with a sweet, cozy base that makes it versatile and unisex. Designed to emulate a Brooklyn Jazz club. For me it's the best from the replica range. The initial spray offers a brief, energetic burst of spice and citrus from Pink Pepper, Primofiore Lemon Oil, and Neroli. This bright, almost medicinal or tart opening quickly mellows. The true character emerges here, centered on a rich Rum Absolute accord. This boozy note is accompanied by Clary Sage Oil and Java Vetiver Oil, creating a smooth, slightly herbal, and intoxicating core that evokes the scent of aged spirits and polished leather. The drydown is the most celebrated part, becoming warm, sensual, and addictive. It features a prominent Tobacco Leaf Absolute that is more refined than smoky, blended with creamy Vanilla Bean and resinous Styrax. This blend provides the lasting impression of a dimly lit lounge—a leather armchair, a sweetened cocktail, and the subtle aroma of cigars. As an edt performance kinda sucks for a bottle of this price, being a niche fragrance is be expecting more. But it is a stunning scent none the less. It kinda disappears off my skin rather quickly, but can be noticed in the air around me for around 5hrs. It projects well for the first couple of hours (1-2 feet) and then settles closer to the skin, making it an intimate and sensual choice rather than a room-filler. This fragrance truly shines in the cooler months—Fall and Winter. Its warmth, spice, and amber notes cut through the cold beautifully, creating a cozy and inviting aura. It is perfect for dates, bars, intimate gatherings, or any setting where you want to project a chic, mysterious, and effortlessly sensual vibe.

LOVE this scent!!! Often worn casually with black wide leg sweatpants, tank and cropped zipped hoodie, or if I’m dressed up, usually with my grey trousers with black accessories. One of the few scents that I enjoy embodying in spirit

Perfect fragrance to cut through the cold brisk winter air while out and about for church and brunch afterwards.

Solid choice! Definitely planning on getting it soon too
Something a little brighter on this Monday!
Wearing the Absolu Aventus by Creed today. Its a bit brighter and Greener in my experience than Warm/Amber/Woody for such a cold day, but I have wanted to wear it and am hoping I can "Channel" some warmer weather! Projection is fair, it sits close to the skin maybe a 3' scent bubble. The dry down is nice and even, but Longevity seems to be lacking in my opinion. If you don't mind respraying this could be a good one. Now to be fair I am a classic "Oversprayer" so I may have gone easy on this one today, but I will reseat and err if that changes anything. Have a great Monday Everyone!!

@Edgar Mertins definitely agree, while I love the OGs musk and fogginess compared to the others, absolu at least is much nicer overall and very balanced

Anyone tried this? I read it had longevity where TF Oud does not. Can you all give input how this compares or differs from Tom ford Oud wood?

No downsides here, opening was a tad different, but from the start of the drydown onwards it was like a logistically better Oud Wood, and this is coming from someone who’s used 125+ ml Oud Wood
