Going to the Caribbean. What to wear?
Gents, im leaving the cool climate of Canada and headed to the Dominican Republic in May. What frags should I pack? Which should I avoid? Here's some of the best heat friendly scents in my collection; French Avenue Aether Extrait Valentino Born In Roma Extradose Valentino Born In Roma Coral Fantasy Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum Versace Man Eau Fraîche Versace Dylan Blue Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man Or do you have a recommendation that I should grab?
How can somebody manage to use fragrances with an adjusted budget?
I am currently studying at university and working on a small business, so I usually spend my money on investing in it. That's why I wanted to know how some of you have managed to use fragrances having a tight budget. Thank you for reading and for your responses in advance 🫶

@Víctor Mendoza im Canadian, so I try to shop at Canadian retailers. (Saves on customs, duty, and shipping) Discounters tend to be online only stores that always sell at a lower price than a retail store. Ie perfumeonline.ca has a loyalty program. I earn 3 points per dollar spent. Points can be redeemed for discounts, free shipping, and cash off my purchases. Fragrancebuy.ca is similar, except they call their points "sprays." Shoppers Drug Mart is a brick and mortar pharmacy that sell fragrance near me. Their prices are much higher, but their loyalty program is awesome! I collect points on fuel, groceries, and other items and can redeem them for money off my purchases.(they also will give away 3 free fragrance samples with a full bottle purchase.) If you time it right they have days where you collect double points, and days when the redemption rate is higher. I can save about 35% if I maximum everything. (And thats without a sale) Every store/retailer is different. Figure out the rules for their game, and try to maximize.

@Daniel Marlowe thank you. Im sorry you had that experience here. I cant say ive seen anything similar, but I may have and never noticed. (Im good at ignoring belly aching.) Glad you're back. Fyi, today Im wearing Club de Nuit Intense Man, that i brought on sale for $25 for 200mls... and loving every minute of it!
Versace Man Eau Fraiche
My kid's sick. Im probably not leaving the house today. The only thing I need to do today is workout. (Friday = leg day) So I didn't put much thought into my SOTD. Grabbed something easy to wear, and good for sweating with. Hard to beat Man Eau Fraiche for a no-brainer gym frag. Fresh, bright, citrus, aromatic, woodsy with that unique starfruit note on top. Haven't worn it in a few months. Almost forgot how great it is.

@Raymond Reeves hes feeling much better today, thanks.
How did you found your signature scent?
What process did you go through to find your signature scent, and what advice can you give to help others find theirs?

I tried to find a signature scent. I joined Scentbird and tested a bunch, but ended up liking so many, I just couldn't settle on one.

@Víctor Mendoza its a mix of what im doing (the occasion), what the weather is like, and what im in the mood for. Heat tends to make a frag project more. Something lighter in the summer, or when you're sweating. For cold weather outdoors, I want something that will project through my layers of clothing and cut through the cold. For church or a job interview, im going to avoid wearing something too loud, boozy, or sexy. If im going to a pub or nightclub, Im going to want those loud, boozy, and/or sexy scents. And some times I just feel like wearing a a particular frag. ... Its kinda like picking what clothes you wear for the day. First you eliminate what doesnt work for the occasion. If you're going to church, a tuxedo or a pair of work coveralls is probably inappropriate, but theres a huge variety of options that are appropriate. You could wear a clean pair of jeans and T- shirt, a suit and tie, a cozy sweater, or anything in between. It all depends on your mood, and style. Fragrance are like that. Some fragrances are like blue jeans, you can wear them almost everywhere. Others are tuxedos, cashmere sweaters, swimming shorts, or bright Hawaiian shirts... there's a time and a place to wear them. Wearing a sweater on a Florida beach in July is probably a mistake. I may recommend a sweater for a fall walk in the park, though. Sweaters come in many colors, materials and styles, but all of them are uncomfortable in hot weather, and better when it's cooler.
I Need Your Help Fellas
Has anyone ever purchased fragrances from The House Of Creed or Parfums De Marley from an Online Discounter , I’m looking to purchase either two Creed’s or four PDM , either way it will be a pricy purchase as of now I’ll be purchasing retail, I’m a little uncomfortable spending that type of money on discounters , I need some advice , should I go retail or can anyone suggest a Discounter I can trust with a purchase like that with confidence
