6 MONTHS CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE - BUT ONLY IF YOU DECIDE
Here’s something most people misunderstand: A decision isn’t choosing between options. A real decision is when you remove the alternatives. Think about it like this 👇 When you lock a door behind you, you stop wondering whether you should go back. You don’t stand there negotiating with the handle. You move forward because backwards is no longer available. That’s the difference between people who change… and people who stay stuck. Most people don’t decide when it comes to their health. They negotiate. - “I’ll get back into it after this busy period.” - “I’ll start properly when work calms down.” - “I’ll be consistent… unless life gets in the way.” And six months pass anyway. Just imagine this for a moment… - For years, you were the fit one. - The healthy one. - The sporty one. The guy people asked for advice. The one who always looked in shape. Then life got busy. Work took off. Priorities shifted. A few too many weekend beers. More takeaways than you’d like to admit. Less energy. Less confidence. That was me. And I know so many of you can relate. After coaching for over a decade, I’ve seen the same pattern again and again: Everything changes after one moment. The moment you stop negotiating. The moment you lock the door on the old version of you. The moment you decide your health is no longer optional. For me, it was seeing photos on the rugby pitch, love handles over the shorts, shirt tight in all the wrong places. For others, it’s: - Not keeping up with the kids - A joke from the lads that hits harder than expected - Favourite clothes no longer fit - Catching your reflection and not recognising yourself That moment isn’t something to ignore. It’s a signal. So here’s the real question: Have you decided to prioritise your health, fitness, and wellbeing or are you still negotiating with yourself? Because six months from now is coming either way. The only difference is whether you arrive stronger, fitter, and more confident or in the same place, telling yourself you’ll “start soon.”
