8 Standing postures
This mornings routine was the 8 Standing postures. I had no specific expectations, but knew, as always, that something would come from the video. I started, off video ,with some loosening drills to prepare myself. This morning is cold here in southern Spain with an outside temp of just 4Āŗ. I say this because by the time I was 12 minutes into the video, I could really feel the heat building. During the bending forward exercise I was beginning to take exceptionally deep breaths and exhales. Now I don't know if this is a natural process, but I started to feel very slightly dizzy. No big issue, however I wanted to mention it. I feel that I have a lot of work to do on my balance. The Golden Rooster stance is very difficult. I can manage 1 or 2 on the right leg but the left, impossible. Any tips would be gratefully received. Many Thanks

The standing posture video is such a great strengthening sequence! It’s really astonishing how holding the same posture for just a few minutes longer—something your body already knows and has been doing for quite a while—can take the practice to a whole different level. My background is music and I remember what my piano teacher said, if you really want to know whether you’re playing it right, do it SLOW. I get it now!
🌿 7-Day Challenge Accountability Thread
Hey everyone, whether you’re starting fresh because you just arrived or you’re restarting like me to re-establish your practice, this is our spot. The 7-day challenge always feels more grounding when we move together, so this post will stay pinned for our daily check-ins. Let’s show up, keep it simple, and take it one day at a time. āœ… How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, follow these three steps: 1. State which day of the challenge you’re on. Example: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, etc. 2. How you felt before and after. One short sentence for each. 3. Screenshot or photo: A quick picture of your screen, TV, or you practicing. Feel free to leave encouragement for others. A little support goes a long way. ✨ Sample Check-In 1. Day: 1 2. Before: Feeling tight 3. After: Calm and relaxed 4. (Photo attached)

Qigong flow beginners guide
Once in a while I’ll practice the beginners guide in the Qigong Flow folder. 42 minutes going back to basics and relax. I really like to start all over again and watch with an eye of ā€˜what did I miss the last time’ šŸ˜‚ Do you have a certain go to practise that you visit regularly?

I gravitate toward longer videos these days as well. I’ve found that, for some reason, the more I regularly practice, the longer it seems to take to activate the feeling I used to experience right away at the beginning of this journey. So for me, a full hour of recorded live sessions is really working well these days!
