🌿 7-Day Challenge Accountability Thread
Hey everyone, whether you’re starting fresh because you just arrived or you’re restarting like me to re-establish your practice, this is our spot. The 7-day challenge always feels more grounding when we move together, so this post will stay pinned for our daily check-ins. Let’s show up, keep it simple, and take it one day at a time. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, follow these three steps: 1. State which day of the challenge you’re on. Example: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, etc. 2. How you felt before and after. One short sentence for each. 3. Screenshot or photo: A quick picture of your screen, TV, or you practicing. Feel free to leave encouragement for others. A little support goes a long way. ✨ Sample Check-In 1. Day: 1 2. Before: Feeling tight 3. After: Calm and relaxed 4. (Photo attached)

Tai Chi Shoes
What type of shoes do you like for Tai Chi practice?

I normally wear tai chi/kung fu shoes. Sometimes sneakers but I prefer the first ones
Live session 12/04 mixed up?
Hey guys. Just wondering probably something was mixed up. The weekly Qi 12.4.25 is empty and seems to be uploaded in the Qi &Flow 12.4.25. And the Qi &Flow isn’t there. So probably something went wrong. Have a good day. ☀️

Practicing in the snow
We got close to a foot of snow in Boulder, and today was a beautiful bluebird day, so I practiced in the neighborhood park. It was the first time I've ever done Qigong/Tai Chi outside in the snow! It was a great experience connecting with all the elements around me!

Wow that sounds amazing!
Walking and Qigong
I have always been a walker. I usually do 3-4 miles each day with some fairly significant elevation changes. I found that as I got older the elevation changes did make me pant increasingly more. I started over the last two weeks to work some of the Qigong breathing elements into my walking using my arms to help pace the inhale and exhale timing on the inclines. Over the last couple of days I have noticed that my breathing is becoming slightly slower on the steep grades. I am hopeful and optimistic that this will help me to get into a more relaxed place with the more challenging walks. Thanks Sonny!

Same here! I do a lot of Qigong while walking ;) Breathing exercises and also walking while relaxing the muscles and being present while walking ;)
