It’s another beautiful morning on the High Plains of Kansas. It was a bit chilly driving home from work temp was 29 degrees. It was an easy night in the ER last night. Was able to play with the forms. Will complete a session of Yin Yang Qi Gong then to bed. Watched the weather last night before work and it seems like most of the bad weather has left the States so everyone locally ought to have a beautiful and calm day. I wish you’ll a lovely and well grounded day. Good and loving thoughts are being sent your way, Laura ❤️💐

Have a great grounding weekend too!
Qi Gong under the stars
Was worried about sleeping tonight and went outside tonight and it was a clear night full of stars and Orion was out in his full glory. He’s my favorite constellation. He comes out fall to spring. I love winter. I had to do a Weekly Qi to get grounded and find some calmness before bed. Practicing at night alone in the backyard with all my wife’s fairy lights was magical. I felt great, calm, and ready to go to bed. Good night everybody

That sounds like an amazing practice setup! I’d love to try on a warm, breezy early summer night😌 (not in the middle of summer)

March Daily Chi Accountability Thread🌿
Here’s the March Daily Chi Accountability Thread. This is a supportive space to show up for your practice, build consistency, and move together as a community. Whether you joined a live session, practiced along with YouTube inside the community, or completed a self-paced course, it all counts. What matters most is that you showed up. This thread will stay pinned for daily check-ins, connection, and encouragement. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, post a short check-in using these four steps: 1️⃣ Intention What did you want to focus on or cultivate today? 2️⃣ Practice What practice did you do today? Live session, YouTube, or self-paced are all welcome. 3️⃣ After How do you feel after completing your practice? One short sentence is perfect. 4️⃣ Visual Share a photo or short video of your practice, your screen, or your setup. ✨ Sample Check-In Intention: To slow down and reconnect with my breath Practice: Live Session 12-21-2025 After: Feeling grounded, calm, and present Photo or video attached There’s no right or wrong way to participate here. Show up in a way that feels good to you, support others when you can, and enjoy the process. One day. One breath. One practice.

@Fernando Cantu Love this weekly reflection. Your perspective on aging is exactly the same as mine. I think the moment we stop (or kind of give up) moving and learning, we begin to age not only physically but also on a deeper level, which ultimately influences the body anyway.
YouTube
I am enjoying this class so much. My question pertains to the YouTube videos being available in the members’ classroom venue as well. Will there be a YouTube section under the classroom tab or am I missing it? Just a thought. Thank you.

Hi Terry, glad you're enjoying your practices! We use YouTube to host our exclusive videos. For non-exclusive that are already published on our channel, the “Daily Qi” classroom is basically a collection of those.

New Mini Lessons Update
Hi, Rooted Alchemy family! We’ve added a few new lessons designed to support your Tai Chi & Qigong practice from different angles — breath, awareness, strength, and connection. These sessions are simple, practical, and meant to integrate directly into your daily training. You can find these in the “Daily Qi” classroom as supporting material for your practice: https://www.skool.com/rootedalchemy/classroom/d5cd1b41?md=ca333495f6ef47429f8c45c4ef6a605a 🌬️ Breath Work — Foundation of Internal Practice - Develop awareness of natural breathing (no forcing or control) - Connect breath with posture and upper body relaxation - Use simple tools (water, balloon) to refine and strengthen breathing - Support Song (松) and deepen present-moment awareness 👁️ Eye Exercises — Focus & Balance - Train near/far focus, tracking, and peripheral awareness - Improve coordination between vision, balance, and posture - Support upright alignment through top-down awareness - Great as a daily reset for clarity and focus 💪 Band Pull Drills — Posture & Upper Body Strength / Three-Level Band Training - Build strength in shoulders, back, and chest - Improve structural support for Tai Chi and Qigong posture - Maintain relaxation while developing stability - Develop coordination between arms, torso, and stance - Integrate upper and lower body into one connected system These lessons are here to help you build a stronger foundation, refine awareness, and support long-term development in your Tai Chi & Qigong practice. Take your time exploring, and let us know what you notice as you work with them!
