Upper Back and Shoulder Stress Release
Today we focus on the upper back and shoulders, where we often carry tension and stress. Move gently and breathe deeply. Simple movements and steady breath can do a lot to ease anxiety and release tightness. Some days feel off (l was having one of those mornings). Workouts can feel harder than usual. That’s okay. Keep showing up for yourself anyway. Move well.

Gentle Qigong Movement
We’ve pushed a bit the last couple of days, so today we slow it down. Gentle Qigong movement, easy breath, and a chance to enjoy the sounds of nature. The birds are very active today. Just remember, showing up and moving in any way is what truly matters. Move well.

@John Sev Good afternoon, John~ The mother robin hasn’t made time for a photo op, but here she is sitting on her trio of unmatched eggs. The daddy robin is quite friendly with me, but no luck with photos with him. • The (mutilated by the City) pine tree is estimated to be 190-225 years old; it’s on my back neighbor’s property, and its lower boughs that cover my yard are the size of a roof of a 2-car garage. Tree is about 5- stories tall. I have collected pine cones with seeds. • The gangly baby tree showed up in my yard (elm?), and I potted it a couple of months ago. • And when the weather warms up, I’ll transplant that tiny red maple that looks quite happy. •

@Ted Colclough Limpid is quite good: originating from Latin lympha (water), it implies a soft, pure clarity. • Perhaps, an "ardent dawn" which refers to one of silver or silvery white. Nonetheless, it was a rich, comforting light (like Drew). Happy Sunday, Ted.

Twice In A Blue Moon
Long before weather apps and planting calendars, people looked up. Each full moon carried a name and a hint— a quiet nudge about what the season might bring, what to gather, what to prepare, what to release. The language changed from place to place, but the intention was the same: stay in rhythm with life. Now, every once in a while, the sky slips us a little bonus— a Blue Moon.
