Skool Traffic Training
Need help with your content to get people to join your skool group?
This video has ALL of the ways that me and my clients are getting new members regularly.
Which funnel are you going to start using?
*NOTES*
Now you've made your community. It's time to get traffic to it.
The best strategy for this is to make content, but you don't want just any content. You want content that actually grabs people's attention and gets them to take action.
In short, you want it to be:
short, sweet, and to the point
showcase you as a relatable authority figure
be end result focused and benefit driven
People are interested in what you can do for them, not what they have to do.
Platforms that I recommend you use: Skool, FB, Youtube.
Content should LOOK like content - entertaining and fun.
People go to social media to feel social, connected, and inspired. People go to youtube to get as far away as boredom as possible and/or to learn something specific.
Think about what your audience would look up (good ides for content and freebies).
FB: content > comment > DM > freebie opt in > dm setting script > sales call > close
YT: content > links to freebie > DM setting script / emails > sales call > close
Skool: Discovery > community > DM setting script > sales call > close
Skool: Post > community > Dm setting script> sales call > close
YT videos:
Packaging gets views: thumbnail, headline, video idea
Intro gets them to watch video:
Pain, proof, promise, plan.
Pain: hook them in with identifying a pain that your audience feels.
Proof: show them proof that you can fix it.
Promise: promise them that if they watch this video, they'll get X end result/transformation.
Plan: let them know how this video will help them get there (the plan for the video).
Use curiosity gap and storytelling to keep people watching or reading to the end.
Have skool group in first line of description, in pinned comment, and in bio of Youtube Channel.
FB Strategy:
If you have a large audience, just keep posting and add in the occasional promotion of your skool group. For every 9 entertainment posts, have a post that promotes the group.
If you don't have a large audience, start working on building your audience (add friends to your profile/set your posts to public and set it up on professional mode). You can also utilize FB groups to promote in. Use the same format, 9 value posts to 1 promotional post. Also use the search bar in the facebook groups to find posts that you can comment on to provide help and/or pitch your free group. The goal is to get them into the DMs where you have a short conversation and try to get htem into your group or to book a call.
Skool:
Utilize your skool group as we mentioned in the community tab.
or
Utilize other skool groups. Find groups full of your target audience and follow the following sequence.
Introduction post (make this about YOU, not your business. What you do should encompass no more than 4 words in your whole post). Let them know about your family, your interests, hobbies, anything that is the most relatable to your specific audience. Ask them what part of your story they relate to the most.
Ask a question post. Ask them a question that pertains to what you do. For instance, if you're a business coach, you could be asking what part of running a business they struggle with the most. If you're a weightloss coach, it could be asking what part of losing weight they struggled with the most. Make it a poll so it's easy to engage with and have the last option "other (comment below)".
Provide an insight. Take the answer of your question, create an insight that will help those people, and make a post in the group to share that insight (don't forget to hyperlink to the previous post to let them know that this is the question you're answering). The headline should be "do you ever struggle with XYZ (insert specific thing they were struggling with)". The end of the most should have a question that either asks for more information from the audience or asks them something about what you said.
9 to 1 (or depending on specific group policies) promotion. For every 9 educational/entertainment, you do 1 pitch to get them into your free group. The best types of posts are "How I..." not "How you...". Just tell people how you overcame the struggle your audience has and people will be interested in what you're doing and check out your group to join.
