❤️How many of you struggle with mom guilt?
Sometimes we can have expectations on ourselves that are way above and beyond what is reasonable.
Like:
💃I need to make $10k per month, homeschool my kids, make everything from scratch, keep a perfectly tidy house, and do it all without causing anybody to feel like they have a need that's unfulfilled.
👉The reality is that most of the time, this is unsustainable (or unrealistic) and even if you do figure out how to do it, it'll take a lot of time of trial and error, progress, and practicing different systems until you find what sticks.
So, we get frustrated in the process, feel like we're failing everybody, and either give up or hate ourselves in the process.
💝What if we gave ourselves grace instead?
What if we figured out what life we actually WANT to live and then tried to set up systems for that with the understanding that it'll take time and a lot of trial & error to become that new person?
🌈It doesn't mean we settle for a subpar life because we think our dream is unrealistic. It means we give ourselves grace, patience, and love in the process.
👇In what ways do you feel like you're struggling and what is a mindset shift you can make to help you give yourself some grace while you learn?
