Best meal yesterday. Ground beef w roasted cauliflower. I added items in my fridge that are on the approved foods list to Chat and it gave me some recipes. I made this one.
Ingredients:
Ground beef (Trader Joe’s has it with 4% fat)
Jalapeño
Onions (red or white)
Chopped or crushed Garlic
Smoked paprika
Chili powder
S&P
Red wine vinegar
Sauté onions and jalapeño in red wine vinegar. Add water or more vinegar if it dries up too quickly. Then add garlic and then beef w spices.
Cook cauliflower at 400• for 18-20 min. Instructions: Cut up cauliflower in big chunks so it’ll cook evenly. Place on cookie sheet w parchment paper. Use red wine vinegar to get it wet for spices to stick. Add S&P, paprika, garlic powder. Mix. Roast. Add cauliflower to hamburger mix after weighing each separately for your bowl.
Add brown rice or sweet potatoes or black beans as part of your complex carb, if you’re further along in the plan.
