Day 15 - White Dial Wednesday
The Frigid Willard is riding on the wrist today. I was intrigued by the cushion case and found this on sale for $50. Didn’t expect the lume and this dial to be as great as they are. Only a few more left to share in my collection.

Shoutout To Brett Sutton & James Milson!
Shoutout to a couple of members who set the tone for what makes this community great! @Brett Sutton put up a strong Watches and Wonders post that gave everyone something real to dig into. Posts like that do more than share news — they spark opinions, comparisons, and conversation. That is how you turn a watch community from passive scrolling into actual discussion. (Link to Post) And @James Milson brought a different kind of value by recognizing @Warren Money and celebrating his milestone inside the community. That kind of post matters too. It shows people are paying attention, it rewards participation, and it makes the community feel alive. (Link to Post) One post kept members talking about the hobby. The other reminded everyone that the people inside the community matter too. Bring the big watch stories. Start conversations. Recognize your fellow members. That is how Watch Lover keeps getting better!

The most expensive mistake in watch collecting isn't the watch
You've seen it happen — maybe you've lived it. A piece that looked right on paper, felt wrong on the wrist, and lost value the moment you tried to move it. A "deal" from a seller whose reputation you couldn't verify. A reference you passed on because you didn't know enough yet, and regretted six months later. None of that is a spending problem. It's an information problem. And information in this hobby isn't hard to find — it's hard to trust. YouTube has opinions. Forums have arguments. Hype pages have agendas. None of it tells you what to do with your specific budget, taste, and collection goals. That's the gap Watch Lover Premium closes. You get direct access to serious collectors and experts who've made the mistakes so you don't have to. Live calls where you can bring a real purchase decision and leave with a real answer. Trusted vendor relationships built over years, not hours of research. A community where the baseline level of knowledge is genuinely high. The collection you're trying to build in two years, alone — some of these men built it in twelve months, together. The room you're in determines the speed you move at. Mid Level Sport Watch Considerations
I am really looking at getting maybe a dive watch to extend my collection and was interested in getting thoughts on mid level (high 00s to lower 1ks) as options. I am looking at the Mido Ocean Star Captain but I am open to other options. Thoughts on the Mido brand or other options. I am looking at Squale as well. Any guidance would be appreciated.
