WOTD - My First Wear of My First Watch

So! I bought my first watch yesterday. 😊

It’s a Seiko Titanium SUR377P1 with a green dial and a two tone bracelet. I chose it because I love the colour, I love the fit and the lightness, I love the fact that it’s titanium so it won’t set off my nickel allergy, and I love the fact that it dresses up or dresses down really well. And I love the price. I just love it, period.

I’ve a plan to build a five-watch collection with a full budget of £1000, and this fits well within these parameters. Happy to have this as an Everyday watch or a Dress watch to start (and my Casio f41w as my beater until I pick up a G-Shock or similar).

I can’t see myself being anything other than a three-figure-price watch collector. That said, I also said I’d never spend more that £100 on a fragrance, and my Creed Oud Zarian sits there and judges me, so who knows?

I’ve got my eye on a Bulova Jet Star in red if I see it come down in price, plus a few others that are cool to me that I’ll share in future posts.

No timescale in this, it’s all about the fun and the journey. And for now, I love my watch and I’m going to wear it on the regular.
