VNS for kids

Hi. Am new to this community.. My friend's 6 yo son has auditory hypersensitivity and was adviced for Auditory protocol which caused dysregulation. They suggested that a VNS protocol would help and suggested for VNS device that is clipped to tragus with gradual increase in impulse.

I was bit skeptical and wanted to check here if device is safe for kids? I already do some breathing exercises.

This Uvula test, does it vary from time to time?

Pls suggest what could be implemented for kids that gives best results.
