Say Goodbye to Ozempic - Say *HELLO* to ... Ultrasound ?
Recently Dr. Kevin Tracey has been sharing LOADS of phenomenal information about Ozempic and GLP-1 drugs, Vagus Nerve Stimulation, and even Ultrasound ! Most recent one: "Using focused ultrasound (FUS) in the lab we wanted to mimic what GLP-1 drugs do — without the weekly injections. Using a machine found in every hospital (and every submarine) we stimulated the vagus nerve in obese mice and they lost weight. And they had less inflammation. Does a new future with fewer drugs await?" Do you guys get this ? There is a possibility that something like the US-2000 Pro could be utilized (either the stock version or with minimal frequency modifications, we think it's doable) - and you could throw away your GLP-1 drugs, or never need to buy them in the first place, wouldn't that be sweet !? I think so ! And from earlier: "Ozempic and GLP-1 cause weight loss via the vagus nerve. In people whose vagus nerve was surgically cut (below the diaphragm, not in the neck), GLP-1 did not reduce food intake or accelerate metabolism. These drugs work through the vagus, in ways we still do not fully understand." We are entering into the Golden Age for Vagus Nerve- Ultrasound Stimulation folks. You all joined at the perfect time - I highly recommend you grab an Ultrasound, and start recording your results immediately, we may find we're sitting on a world-changing discovery. It's been a honor and a privilege to serve all of you in your Vagus Nerve Journey, and I will continue to do so. Sincerely, Sterling Cooley

I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator aka VNS for seizure control. I noticed throughout the 1st year I lost all kinds of weight. I went from 160 lbs. To 115 lbs. throughout the first year after my implant. I am literally never hungry. I eat to stay alive. I started doing all kinds of investigation on this nerve. Just curious as to why I am never hungry and losing so much weight. I read our vagus nerve goes through our thyroid and our stomach. So I deduced that every 3 minutes when my VNS powers up. Since this nerve goes through our thyroid. Well it is speeding up my digestive system. Since this nerve goes through our stomach. Then every 3 minutes when it powers up it is telling my stomach i am full. Which is why I am never hungry. I have been saying for years they will be recommending vagus nerve stimulation for weight lose and control.
Ultrasound Applied to Abdomen Also Stimulates Your Vagus Nerve Anti-Inflammatory Mechanism
Imagine giving your internal wiring a high-tech spa day. Scientists discovered that a simple abdominal ultrasound doesn't just peek at your organs; it actually tickles your vagus nerve into action. Recent clinical findings reveal that non-invasive abdominal ultrasound is no longer limited to diagnostic imaging. It has emerged as a potent modulator of the autonomic nervous system. By targeting subdiaphragmatic vagus nerve fibers, focused sound waves trigger the body's endogenous cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. In rigorous models, 1-MHz ultrasound application induced mechanosensitive depolarization, increasing vagal afferent firing rates by 250%. This neural signal travels to the brainstem, which subsequently activates efferent pathways directed toward the spleen. The molecular mechanism involves α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on macrophages. This interaction suppresses NF-κB signaling, leading to a 62% reduction in IL-6 and a 48% drop in TNF-α. In sepsis models, survival rates increased from 35% to 82%. Human pilot data confirms these anti-inflammatory effects with zero adverse events. This breakthrough paves the way for portable, non-pharmacological treatments for chronic conditions such as IBD, rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic inflammation. The result? A massive 60% drop in the chemical drama queens known as pro-inflammatory cytokines. No pills, no needles—just a gentle acoustic nudge that tells your body to stop throwing an inflammatory tantrum. From arthritis to sepsis, we’re moving toward a future where we can literally "shush" our sickness with a handheld hum. Who knew the secret to inner peace was just some really good vibrations? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41671184

I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator aka VNS for seizure control. About a year after I was implanted with my VNS I started losing all kinds of weight. I realized too that I was never hungry. After some investigation I read our vagus nerve goes through our thyroid and our stomach. So every 3 mins. when my VNS powers up. Well it is speeding up my digestive system and telling my stomach I am full. Which explains why I have no appetite. Which can suck at times because food does not taste good when you are never hungry. I also have my medical marijuana card. This assists in making food taste good. I have read they will be implanting VNS with people who are chronically obese because of these reasons.
Vns: Promising Results For Treatment-Resistant Depression Highlighted
Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) and Treatment-Resistant Depression. The RECOVER trial utilized VNS for TRD over two years. A 52-week, double-blind phase was followed by a 104-week extension. Active VNS yielded 27.4% remission vs. 12.3% with sham at 52 weeks. After 104 weeks, remission reached 45%, with a 67% response rate. VNS reduces IL-6 and TNF-α, and upregulates hippocampal BDNF. VNS enhances synaptic plasticity and improves HRV. https://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/appi.ajp.20220792 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41529263

I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator aka VNS for seizure control. I also have dealt with depersonalization and derealization. Turns out stimulating my vagus nerve not only stops my seizures. This also makes it possible to feel emotions and connections to life and people in it again. I sat on my sofa and drank myself half dead for 5 years just to numb my detachment issues. About a year after I was implanted with VNS I realized I was starting to feel emotions and connections to life and people in it again. So I got sober. Today I have over 13 years sober and I have a life beyond my wildest dreams.

@Sterling Cooley I can atest that stimulating our vagus nerve like mine is, stops any euphoric high you get from alcohol and or drugs. I have plenty of experience with this. My last drunk I git so drunk I fell into a piece of furniture. I kept drinking because I could not get the euphoric high. I had noticed it months before this though. I have had to take pain meds for surgery recovery. I never felt the euphoria you feel when taking pain meds. The only thing I can attribute it to is our vagus nerve calms us down. So some how stimulating this nerve like mine is my vagus nerve balancing out my equilibrium. It almost feels like our vagus nerve is what is spreading consciousness thtoughout our and bodies. Our vagus nerve goes through our gut. 90% of our serotonin originates in our girls. Serotonin is the feel good juice in our brains. Well if our vagus nerve is moving along smoothly through thyroid. Our vagus nerve is considered the "Superhighway" between our brain and our gut. If our gut is pleased it is telling our brain via our vagus nerve. They will be implanting VNS with people who chronically obese
Vagus Nerve Stimulation: A New Hope For Stubborn Depression?
Feeling blue, even after trying ALL the usual sunshine pills? Turns out, our trusty vagus nerve might have a trick up its sleeve! Think of it as the body's chill-out remote. A recent study showed that zapping this nerve can lift the fog of even stubborn depression. After two years, almost half of the participants found their smiles again! It's like giving your brain a gentle nudge, waking up its happy chemicals. Plus, it seems to quiet down inner inflammation. A few hiccups like a froggy voice were reported, but nothing too scary. So, could VNS be the unexpected hero in the depression story? Maybe it’s time to give that vagus nerve some love! https://www.empr.com/news/lasting-benefit-seen-for-vagus-nerve-stimulation-in-treatment-resistant-depression

I developed encephalitis in both temporal lobes and hippocampus of my brain. This left me with amnesia, seizures, dementia issues, and a nonstop state of depersonalization and derealization. Science discovered stimulating our vagus nerve can stop a seizure on the spot. Which is why I was implanted with my Vagus Nerve Stimulator aka VNS. Turns out stimulating my vagus nerve not only stops my seizures. This also makes it possible to feel emotions and connections to life and people in it again. I would have welcomed death at one point in my life. Today because of stimulating my vagus nerve I have a life beyond my wildest dreams. Our vagus nerve is where our love, empathy, and passion comes from.
Unlock Vagus Nerve Power: Gut-Brain Connection Simplified
The vagus nerve is the gut-brain axis's main conduit. It governs digestion, inflammation, and emotions. This bidirectional pathway links gut microbiome and brain function. Think of it as a walkie-talkie system. Gut sends signals, brain responds (and vice versa!). Vagal tone reflects parasympathetic efficiency. Heart rate variability (HRV) tracks it. Low vagal tone correlates with anxiety and IBS. Enhanced vagal tone builds resilience. Omega-3s, fermented foods, and polyphenols boost vagal activity. They modulate microbiota and reduce gut permeability. Improved vagal tone stabilizes mood, balances immunity, and supports metabolic health. A happy vagus means a happier, calmer, healthier YOU. I have a Vagus Vagus Nerve Stimulator aka VNS. My vagus nerve gets battery volts sent to it every 3 minutes in 30 seconds intervals and has been since the year of 2011. I am literally never hungry. Stimulating my vagus nerve is telling my stomach I am full. I eat to stay alive. My thyroid is in first gear too. I could just look at a cheeseburgerand start burning it off. I lost over 30 lbs. after installation of my VNS. I have mine for seizure control. For those who are not aware that science discovered stimulating our vagus nerve can stop a seizure on the spot. I also never had an athletic bone in my body before my VNS. Today I am running marathons and competing in triathlons. Are vagus nerve goes through our heart and lungs. This is assisting in regulating my heart rate and breath so I could run 26.2 miles. They will be implanting VNS with people who suffer with heart disease and asthma because of these reasons. They will be implanting VNS with people who are chronically obese because of these reasons. I also have dealt with depersonalization and derealization. Stimulating my vagus nerve not only stops my seizures. This also makes it possible to feel emotions and connections to life and people in it again. Our vagus nerve is where our love, empathy, and passion comes from. Our "fight or flight" nerve. I would have welcomed death at one point in my life. Today because of stimulating my vagus nerve I have a life beyond my wildest dreams. My VNS is implanted in my chest just underneath my left collar bone. There are wires attached to it that are pushed up my chest into my neck. They wrapped the wires around my entire vagus nerve. My VNS is battery powered. It powers up every 3 mins for 30 seconds. It can detect a seizure before I am aware I am about to have one. It will start up immediately and stop my seizures. Also I do not have tonic clonic seizures aka Grandmal Seizures. I have Simple Partial Complex seizures. They call them "Aura" seizures. You would not even know I am having one. I do not lose cause. Also our gut produces 90% of our serotonin. Serotonin is the feel good juice in our brains. Our vagus nerve is considered the "Superhighway" between our gut and our brain. So if our gut is not pleased it is telling our brain this via our vagus nerve.
