Much Needed VagusSkool.com Web Update - Now with 3D Anatomy Viewer for Finding your Vagus Nerve
Hey Vagus Skoolers ! I have exciting news! Go to vagusskool.com/anatomy And you will now be able to see a medically relevant shot of where the Vagus Nerve is in your Neck - in 3D ! Best to view it on a Desktop or Laptop computer - might not work great on your phone FYI. As months go, I am going to *try* to add more 3d Anatomy locations - but for now, enjoy this one, which is arguably - the one most of you should be doing anyways. Also, to answer the obvious question, I know at least one of you will be asking "That's the left side, but is it in a different location on the right side of the neck ?" No, it's not different on the right side. In fact, it would be in the identical, almost mirror image reflection also on the right side of your neck. Go visit it, see if it loads on your computer, let me know what you think, and what other anatomical things you would like to see next ! Sincerely, -Sterling

Thats just what we needed, thank you sir. I was a little too low, but probably still hitting them, sure feels like it anyways. 😉
How Ozempic And The Vagus Nerve Supercharge Your Biological Highways (Microtubules) :D
Interesting thing about Ozempic, Wegovy, Tirzepitide, etc, is that these explicitly are targeting the Vagus Nerve. So by proxy, could this open the door to discovering that simple VNS techniques, including Ultrasound, may actually be enhancing our Microtubules ? This would be one heck of a discovery ! Think of your pancreas as a high-stakes construction site where the neighbors are constantly yelling helpful advice over the fence. The α-cell is the overachieving foreman who sees a sugar rush and decides the internal highways need a serious upgrade. It sends out a GLP-1 signal—a "build faster" memo—that hits the β-cell next door like a double-shot of espresso. Suddenly, the β-cell’s internal tracks (microtubules) aren't just growing; they’re sprinting 1.8 times faster than before. This isn't a scramble; it’s precision engineering. The roads get reinforced, helping insulin cargo find the exit 45% more efficiently. Our cells aren't just lonely workers; they’re a synchronized pit crew keeping the metabolic traffic flowing. Who knew neighborly gossip was the secret to keeping our biological highways from turning into a total parking lot? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41511443

I am taking Tirzepitide(Mounjaro) for type II diabetes myself. On my third month now, down 40 lbs so far, my A1c is down from 11.8 to 7 and my blood sugar went from 277 to 97. Hoping that when I come off the meds that the VNS will help my body to maintain lower blood sugar levels, along with the proper diet and exercise obviously. Time and persistence will tell, I don't want to be reliant on the meds forever.
Relaxing Vagus Waves Sound Therapy | While You Sleep
Many slow-breathing studies show that reducing breathing speed can increase vagally mediated heart rate variability, which is associated with parasympathetic activation and relaxation. From that starting point, this soundscape was built around two core elements: Undulating Vagus Hum: Built from a deep grounding rumble, warm low drone, soft theta pulses, and gentle brown noise, this blend helps calm the vagus nerve and guide the body toward deep sleep. Resonant Vagal Drone: Built from a steady low-mid hum with minimal movement and a centered tone, this sound promotes nervous system safety, supporting vagal calm and easier sleep onset. https://youtu.be/skofwlpezuU?si=wZSwjUFsN7lFlRuW
Extend Your Cardiac Lifespan By Eighteen Percent With VNS (w/ Ultrasound?)
Right side cervical Ultrasound VNS (Instructions on how in VagusSkool.com - go to Classroom Modules) (Or search neck ultrasound) Could very well help keep your heart younger, and healthier. 20hz in this study seemed to be a good pulse frequency - we will work on that for the Ultrasound system. 20hz + 40hz Ultrasound is going to be awesome ! The vagus nerve has emerged as the master regulator of cardiac longevity. A 2026 study reveals that vagal signaling is essential for shielding the heart against the chronic inflammation that defines biological aging. In aged models, the loss of vagal tone accelerates cardiomyocyte senescence and interstitial fibrosis. This leads to a precipitous drop in ejection fraction, often from a healthy 65% to a compromised 42%. The mechanism is strictly biochemical: acetylcholine activates α7 nicotinic receptors on cardiac macrophages. This inhibits the NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasomes, curbing the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-1β. Chronic Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) has been shown to extend cardiac functional lifespan by 18%. By preserving mitochondrial ATP and reducing reactive oxygen species, VNS maintains the heart’s structural integrity. Human longitudinal data supports these findings. High vagal tone—measured by an RMSSD over 30ms—is linked to a 25% lower risk of heart failure and significantly slower ventricular remodeling. We are moving toward a future where neuromodulation acts as a biological pacemaker to arrest the aging process itself. https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2026/02/06/vagus-nerve-heart-aging-resilience.aspx

Imagine if we all start getting younger? The real fountain of youth in the palm of your hand. 😉
Vagus Nerve Side View
Sterling, is this a correct illustration of the side view location of the Vagus nerve? Or is it further back, more under the ears? Asking for new friends ✨️ 💙

@Sterling Cooley I watched the video with the younger you, but was nervous about putting the unit over the arteries for so long but I guess its no big deal and there's no way around it. Thats why I was looking for a model that showed the exact location. Chloe's post showed what I was looking for. Thanks you.. ⏲️ 2 ⚡️
