Introducing, the Ultrasound Memory & Cognition Improvement Study !
This is a study that a team of doctors and scientists have worked diligently to craft.
We utilize a protocol that uses the US-2000 Pro Ultrasound device, as well, so if you already own one, you may already be partially eligible.
This is a study, so of course, some clear evidence of memory & cognitive decline must be established.
We are wanting to explore if Ultrasound could turn out to be a great tool for reversing Alzheimer's & Dementia, and early inquiry is revealing this may just be the case.
So, if you would like to read more, and potentially engage in the study, all of the details are here!
This would be great if you have an older family member who has clear memory & cognitive decline.
The study is only open until November, it's been running since June, and still has openings right now.
Don't delay !!!

New Study Underway to Improve Memory & Cognitive Function
Novato, CA, June 18, 2025 – There’s exciting new research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS).
A unique research study has begun that focuses on improving memory and cognitive function. The hope is that it can advance effective treatment options for patients with memory and cognitive impairment, which many people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia experience, and therefore possibly enhance their quality of life and daily functioning.
Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR, IONS director of research, is the principal investigator for this open-label pilot study, called “Ultrasound Brain Massage for Memory and Cognitive Impairment.’
Other partners in the study are Dr. Stuart Hameroff, anesthesiologist, Quantum Consciousness theorist & researcher from the University of Arizona, Center for Consciousness Studies, and Sterling Cooley, biotech innovator and Founder and CEO of Vagus Nerve Stimulation and Repair Program. The study involves self-administration of the US Pro2000 ultrasound device – not typically included in standard memory or cognitive impairment treatment protocols. This study is designed to explore whether the US Pro2000 ultrasound device can help improve memory and cognitive function in individuals experiencing memory difficulties in a safe and effective way.
Dr. Wahbeh explains, “Unlike clinical treatments that may involve medications or structured therapies, this study’s methodology is exploratory and aims to gather data on the potential benefits of ultrasound for cognitive improvement. The device uses safe sound waves to stimulate brain activity, and we’re exploring its potential as an innovative, noninvasive treatment option.
”The US Pro2000 is a handheld device that uses sound waves, similar to those used in medical imaging, to stimulate the brain. Participants will use this device at home, three times a day, five minutes each time, for three weeks, followed by one week off. They apply the sound waves through the skull at the area near the right side of the head, just above the ear. Participants may complete some brief tasks that assess memory and thinking skills. However, using the device does not replace any current medical therapies or medications prescribed by healthcare providers.
Participants will complete online surveys before starting and monthly to assess changes in memory, mood, and quality of life. They will also complete a short daily assessment about their US Pro2000 usage and symptoms. Participation in the study continues until participants no longer use the device, discontinue participation, or the study ends in approximately 6 months (whichever comes first).
This specific treatment protocol was developed by collaborator Sterling Cooley, who has used the modality in approximately 1,000 patients and found it anecdotally beneficial. As far as researchers know, this study, which seeks to enroll up to 100 participants, is the first to formally evaluate these positive anecdotal experiences.
Another potential outcome, should the results be positive as expected is that, Wahbeh states, “This research could lend support for the idea that microtubules are involved in consciousness. This relates to the orchestrated objective reduction (Orc-OR) theory of consciousness” developed by Dr. Hameroff and Sir Roger Penrose, a world-renowned physicist. “At IONS, we’re conducting pioneering consciousness research to explore new possibilities in human potential.”Anyone interested in participating in this exciting research, or who wants to learn more, can visit https://noetic.org/science/participate-research/#tus.
