10 years ago today, my father left this world❤️‍🩹 And I don’t speak about him from a place of pain… I speak about him from a place of truth, understanding, and awakening. Because my father…was both love and lesson. He was one of the most generous man I have ever known. A provider. A giver. A man who made sure we had food on the table through every season. A man who gave… even when he had little. And yet…He was also a man who carried pain he did not know how to hold. When he drank, he became someone else. Harsh. Angry. Lost. Words would come out of his mouth that no child should ever hear. And as a little girl… I overheard them in an argument. I grew up feeling like I didn’t belong. Like I wasn’t chosen. Like I needed someone to protect me. But life… in its divine intelligence…turned even that into a manifestation. Because I spoke. I declared. I desired. And I called in a man who would hold me, protect me, and lead me. ( I was married to 24years older than me) That is how powerful we are. But the deepest lesson my father gave me… came before he left. For six months…he spoke death over his life. Not once. Not casually. But consistently. Emotionally. Repeatedly. “I will drink myself to death.” “I will end my life this way.” Even when people tried to stop him… he continued to declare it. And within months…his body followed his words. He developed throat cancer🥹 And then… he passed away for that short period 6 months. But here is the grace…He was given time. Time to see. Time to feel. Time to repent. Time to ask forgiveness from my mother… from us… from life itself. And that is where I saw the truth so clearly: Our words are not empty. ✅️They are commands. ✅️They are creation. ✅️They are spells. What you speak… you invite. What you repeat… you become. What you declare… life organizes around. This is not fear. This is awareness. Because the same power that destroyed… is the same power that can build, heal, and transform. So today… I honour my father.
