For me, it was pan-fried steak. Grandma always had dinner going at 3:30pm sharp, and on steak night it sizzled until it was complete leather. But man, did it smell good! Maybe yours smelled like coffee, or even mothballs 😂 And it’s never just the smell, is it? It’s the card games at the kitchen table. The candy dish you’d steal from. The porch swing in the evenings. The way they said your first AND middle name! Those are the kinds of memories 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮 helps grandparents create with their grandkids inside 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿. The problem many of today’s grandparents face is trying to make those memories from three states away, over FaceTime, with toddlers who wander off mid-call and teenagers who have more important things to do. That’s when the miles between you start to feel like a different kind of distance. Maybe you’re the one sending birthday gifts and never hearing back. Or watching the calls get shorter as they get older. Or wondering if you’re doing enough, or doing it right. You’re not the only one. Not even close! If you’re craving more closeness with your grandchildren, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 is where grandparents swap ideas that close the gap, whether your grands are in diapers or driving. Whether you’re nearby or miles away, Anna helps you find a way 👉 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆. It’s free. But before you go, what’s your fondest memory with your grandparents? Or what’s the most fun memory you’ve made with your grandkids so far? @Anna Murrietta

Money flirts with you on payday. Winks. Buys you a drink. Makes you feel like "𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲". Most grandparents buy the coloring book... @Tina Alexander, on the other hand, made one. Then she made four more! Not bad for someone who says she's not an illustrator and has never taken a single art class. She just really wanted to give her grandkids something 𝘀𝗵𝗲 made, not something she grabbed off a shelf. And when she was done, it looked like a real book... Because it was! That's when she had her aha moment. The leap from "a gift for my grandkids" to "a book for sale on Amazon" was a whole lot shorter than she thought. Between August 20 and September 16, she published five books in total. Four are for kids ages 4 to 8, with robots, animal careers, community helpers, and girls who build things. One is for grown-ups. All are under her own name. 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵? $𝟬. Now, you all know I'm all for getting things done for as little as possible, but this next part is what really 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Did you know that when you price your books on Amazon, there's a big difference between $8.99 and $9.99? It's way more than a dollar's worth. Most of us would pick $8.99 because it feels safer and friendlier... except Amazon pays a 60% royalty at $9.99 and up, and only 50% below that. On one of Tina's books, that works out to: $8.99 → $2.20 in her pocket $9.99 → $3.69 in her pocket One dollar on the price tag puts about $1.50 more in her pocket on every single sale. Playing it safe would have cost her roughly 40% of what she earns per book. Tina did the math before she hit publish, because that's how she rolls. She figures out how it works before she jumps in. She wrote the whole story on her blog, including what it costs, what you keep, and everything Amazon asks of you that nobody really warns you about. You can click straight through to check out all five books from there. 👉 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗮'𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 And with Christmas right around the corner, why not gift a coloring book made by a real grandma to the little ones in your life? 🎄

💸 Why does it feel like there's never enough?
You make decent money... but the bills keep coming, you walk out of the grocery store with two bags and somehow spent $100, and every other expense just keeps going up too. Somehow, no matter how much money comes in, there never seems to be enough left over. You start thinking, "If I could just make a little more money, things would be different." 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙧? What if the missing piece is learning how to keep more of what you already make? That's where the conversation starts to shift because there's a difference between earning money, managing your everyday finances, and actually building wealth for your future. And that's what 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗻 (The Smell of Money) will be exploring with us during her upcoming 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 conversation. We'll be talking about your personal finances, the money coming into your household, where it's going, and how to start closing the gap between making money and building wealth... because you shouldn't have to feel like you're constantly chasing the next paycheck just to get ahead. 🌊 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 📅 Monday, October 19th ⏰ 1 PM Central / 2 PM Eastern 🎥 Live Online 💰𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆. Wait, wait, wait…that’s not right. You don’t start building a house with the roof. You can’t just hold a handful of shingles in the air and hope the foundation eventually shows up underneath them. 😆 You build it from the bottom up. Your business works the same way, but somewhere along the way, the internet and all it's gurus convinced us to start with the roof. We pick a number like six figures or $10K months and then start chasing customers without knowing where that number even came from. Before you decide what your business should make, you need to know what it costs to keep it running, how much you need or want to pay yourself, and what needs to be set aside for taxes and profit. Once you know those numbers, you can figure out what your business actually needs to generate each month... and based on what you sell, how many customers it will take to get there. That’s your foundation. And on Tuesday, September 29, 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗻 is helping us build it the right way inside the 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿: 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your own Bottoms Up Business plan and numbers that actually make sense for your business... not some shiny revenue goal you plucked off the internet because everybody else was yelling about it. 📅 Tuesday, September 29 ⏰ 4:00 PM Central / 5:00 PM Eastern 👉 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁. When you started your business, did you build the foundation first…or were you already picking out curtains? 😂👇 @Lisa Drennon
