Lesson 21 - Finishing the Form is now live
Congratulations! In this lesson we complete the Yang Style Short Form, including the movement Shoot Tiger, bringing together everything you've learned throughout the course. The focus is on linking the final movements with balance, control, and a smooth, connected flow, finishing the form with confidence and intention. Reaching the end of the form is a significant achievement, but it's also the beginning of the next stage, refining the movements through regular practice and developing a deeper understanding of the sequence as a whole. 🎥 If you'd like feedback on your practice, feel free to send me a short video and I'll be happy to offer some guidance. 🔒 Available to members as part of the full training series.

Lesson 20 - Seven Stars & Lotus Kick is now live
In this lesson we continue the form with Seven Stars and Lotus Kick, developing balance, coordination, and control through two distinctive movements. The focus is on maintaining stability and connection while moving smoothly between postures. Take your time and work within a comfortable range, paying attention to balance and body alignment throughout. Regular practice will help these movements become more natural and integrated into the flow of the form. 🎥 If you'd like feedback on your practice, feel free to send me a short video and I'll be happy to offer some guidance. 🔒 Available to members as part of the full training series.

NOT just for ‘old ladies in the park.’
On a number of occasions, people have said to me that when they think of tai chi, all they see in their mind’s eye is a gathering of ‘old ladies in the park.’ I have found that showing them the opening to the following Jet Li film helps to change that image: https://youtu.be/lJ9g3jqfAJY?is=EasoVh7bluqlNyzD
