Welcome to The Traditional Tai Chi Method — a calm, structured community dedicated to authentic internal martial arts.
Stephen White started this community, practising Tai Chi for over 20 years and teaching for 7, trained in a respected traditional lineage.
This school is designed for beginners over 40 who feel stiff, stressed, or disconnected, and want to improve strength, balance, and well-being through consistent internal practice.
Training begins with Tai Chi as the foundation, supported by Qi Gong to develop breath, relaxation, and internal awareness. Lessons are short, repeatable, and taught patiently, allowing the body to change over time.
As students progress, elements from the wider internal arts tradition — including Xing Yi, Ba Gua, and traditional weapons — may be introduced through structured seminars.
There are no live sessions. This is a long-term path rooted in traditional principles, personal practice, and steady development.
