Lesson 16 - Snake Creeps Down to Golden Rooster is now live
This lesson introduces a change in level as we move from Snake Creeps Down into Golden Rooster. The aim is to develop control and balance as you lower and rise, keeping the movement smooth and connected throughout. Take your time with this one, work within your range and allow the movement to become more stable and confident with practice. If you’d like feedback, feel free to send a short video - I’m happy to take a look. 🔒 Available to members as part of the full training series.

Quick question for the community 🙏
We're thinking about creating something new and want your input before we build anything. Beyond the weekly lessons, would a structured program interest you? Something with a clear focus and simple daily practice you could follow at home? Two quick questions: - What's the one physical problem that affects your daily life that you wish Tai Chi could help with? - Would you prefer a short daily routine to follow, or a library of lessons to explore at your own pace? No right answers, we just want to build something that actually helps you ☯️

@Jennifer Brooks Tai chi is one of the few hobbies that is actually kind to your knees when performed correctly. If at any point you experience pain in your knees, when twisting turning it stepping, perhaps turn your toe in the direction you wish to travel before putting weight on it. I will add a video of this soon. Steve

@Marc Croteau I think you have hit the nail on the head. I imagine it's a lot like an artist who paints the same painting 100s of time. Essential it's the same painting. But the first and last painting will be completely different. And along the way the artist would have developed a different understanding of how to paint that picture.
Lesson 14 - Step Back and Repulse Monkey is now live

The aim is to develop smooth, controlled movement while maintaining balance and a connected structure throughout. Take your time with this one. Steady, relaxed practice will help the movement feel more natural and stable. If you’d like feedback, feel free to send a short video, I’m happy to take a look. 🔒 Available to members as part of the full training series.
