A real start and story of finding discovery

Hey now! Family? At least that’s what I feel like this is in this community. There’s a great energy always pulsating. When I first came to the platform of Skool. I had no idea that I would stumble upon a community like this.

My journey into writing is not traditional. I don’t have the areas of study that really good writers have taken upon through educational avenues.

So when I got to the Community. I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve been here I would say. A few months and I’ve had a couple of conversations with our host. Dani! Each conversation that we’ve had whether the one on one calls and even a lot of the DM post we’ve shared. Has been a nurturing and informative session each time.

I walk away with so much clarity and a better understanding of how I need to look at what I’m doing as a writer. Working on the projects or certain aspects in my project that’ll help me shape the end product that I’m aiming for.

The one thing I like about Dani is that she’s very approachable. I love the social atmosphere she’s created in this community. There’s always an element of being present when engaging with her. I feel I’ve learned much and have become a better writer with the nuggets of knowledge she has shared.

We all travel at our own pace. She makes it feel less urgent while allowing us to find our footing. In these times, right now that some of us are in here the states, and other places. We are all navigating.

Having an outlet like writing and being in communities, where the unity of the members here are so engaging. (That it helps me filter out the noise.) The support has been an absolute; that Dani herself, she gives while spoken in her motherly voice. Direct and insightful.

Writing is a passion. You hear it in her voice. But also it’s very therapeutic. Especially as she explains her journey of recovery and reinventing her own ways back to a life she never imagined she’d have. I feel she is a vital element in my growth and her ability to spread her energies to the community as she does. Shows me her investment into each and everyone of us.

I’m sure I’ll have more to share as I continue to work and grow in this community. Surrounded by so many amazing and talented creators.

Like I said in the beginning of this Post, I feel that there is a family here and we have the potential to support Each other. The challenges, with our battles of creating, and discovering our best selves for the reader. We hope to share our projects with them, plus our stories and works.

Dani for sharing yourself and your struggles and accomplishments. For creating a place where I and many others can feel comfortable about stretching themselves.

In a portal where everyone can release and breathe life from their own experiences and thoughts. To follow a dream or lay a pathway to show others that all things are possible.

Small steps get just as far as giant leaps. Belief in what you’re capable of doing is only possible when you take the leap of faith and move yourself forward with action.
