Follow up on problem statement
Hi all, I wasn't able to make the session today, but I wanted to follow up with my problem statement, as it was my accountability task for this week. David and I had an insightful conversation yesterday about my idea. He challenged me to think more openly about the different avenues to break into the market and begin generating revenue. In parallel to the development of a baby pacifier, I will also be focusing on curating a brand that reflects the troubles many young Latino parents have. Here is my problem statement: Many young Latino parents struggle to find baby products they trust that align with their cultural values, aesthetic preferences, and parenting instincts. As a result, they default to generic, mass-market products that feel impersonal and disconnected from how they want to raise their children, leaving them overwhelmed and underserved. I welcome your feedback and suggestions. Thank you!
Is this the future of Latino Style?
For the history of consumer products, we’ve been led to believe that premium products can only come for Europe. @Alejandro Ruelas has been exploring this space for his startup, and when I saw this I thought of him. What do you think? Our culture is beautiful and we are the largest emerging consumer demographic. We should lead this sector and develop new products.

Thursday- Skills Thread
For today’s theme “skills” I wanted to share a skill thats helped me a lot lately as a founder: learning to say “not now.” Not “no.” Not “never.” Just… not now. As founders, especially those of us ADHD’ers, we’re wired to move fast and solve problems, everything feels urgent. A new idea, client message or request from the team and before we know it, we’ve abandoned the thing we intentionally sat down to work on. Saying “not now” has become a boundary I set with myself. It sounds simple, but it’s powerful: -Not now to reacting to emails in middle of deep work time -Not now to chasing a new idea before finishing the current one -Not now to saying yes just because I can What this has done is protect my focus, my energy, and my ability follow through. It’s helped me finish things instead of constantly switching lanes and feeling behind. I’ve learned that urgency is often emotional, not real. Saying “not now” gives me the space to respond intentionally instead of reacting automatically.
