1 Million Cups Pitch Event is happening in 2 hours
Hi, I'm Lizz
I’m Lizz Huerta, an author and artist based in Chula Vista, California. For over 25 years, I’ve worked in the worlds of art, storytelling, and activism. My debut novel, The Lost Dreamer (2022), was one of the first Latinx fantasy novels published by a major publishing house and became a finalist for the Barnes & Noble Book of the Year award. I teach creative writing, offer creative consulting, and speak publicly about creativity, storytelling, and lived experience. After taking a two-and-a-half-year pause from my professional life to care full-time for my father during his battle with ALS, I’m now returning to my work carrying both grief and a deeper sense of purpose. Looking forward to connecting and collaborating.🇲🇽🇵🇷🌈

The Classroom tab is where we provide the "gold" for your Cadenita, walking you through the Lean Startup process step-by-step. Master the Lean Startup Steps 🚀 Each module is designed to help you build a solid foundation so you can rise with the rest of the community: - Step #1: Start with a Great Problem – Every great startup begins by identifying a problem worth solving. - Step #2: Research & Analysis – Dig deep into the market to ensure your solution has a place to grow. - Step #3: Customer Discovery – Talk to your customers early and often to stay linked to their actual needs. - Step #4: Innovation & Design – Use Blue Ocean Strategy to create rather than just compete. - Step #5: The MVP Cycle – Learn how to launch your Minimum Viable Product to start the cycle of growth. Real-World Wisdom 💡 Beyond the steps, you’ll find case studies, like Border X Brewing, and profiles of Subject Matter Experts who have already forged their path and are here to help you forge yours. New to the entrepreneurial landscape
Hello everyone, found David popping in my FYP and thought, this sounds interesting. So I joined here. I've been tinkering with an idea for Latino fine artists in the USA, and as a designer, I always come up with names, branding, layouts, etc., but I always stall at a certain point and end up on the back burner. Maybe reading posts here, I can learn a thing or two. Glad to be here. Saludos! 👋
