Most music creators never define "done."
So they keep tweaking indefinitely, or worse, they pitch tracks that aren't ready.
Here's the fix: before you start a track, write down 3 criteria it has to meet before it leaves your hard drive.
Mood locked in? Check.
No elements clashing together make the mix problematic? Check.
You'd pitch it to a sync agent or library today without hesitation? Check.
That's your definition of done. Set it before you record note one.
If it doesn't hit all three, it's not done.
Simple as that.
