Who just joined? Introduce yourself.
New here? Drop a quick intro below. Three things: what you produce, how long you've been at it, and what brought you to sync. Don't overthink it. Just post.

Oh man. I feel like an outsider. lol. I have been using Cubase, and still continue to use it. I'm not on the latest version, but I've been using it for a long time. I'm currently on 12 I believe. Some of my favorite VSTs? Ugh. So many. Omnisphere use to be one of my favorite, but lately I've enjoyed some of the libraries I have for Nexus. Ample Sound has some great guitars, Bass, Metal, and ethnic stuff. Stylus RMX (Same company that brought you Omnisphere) is great for some beats and electro Drums. I feel like I can go on and on, but there is a few.
Could use some feedback on a track I am about to release
https://s.disco.ac/nazaauhikqzu If you get a chance, I'd love for you to listen to one of my latest tracks. This one I am actually singing on myself. (Which I do not do that often) It has taken a bit of time to get it to this place, and I'd just love to get some feedback about it. Thank you all in advance. Have a splendid day.

@Jennifer Crowe Thank you Jennifer. The female voice is my fiancé, and to be honest her voice is leaps above my own. Thank you for your input. I will listen back with that in mind.

Thank you Tim. Good ear that is a a Wurlitzer style keys instrument. (MKII) I like the sound of that instrument for solo playing. Thank you again for taking the time to listen.
Latin style beat
What’s going on everyone, it’s been a while since I posted anything and I wanted to share something interesting with you all. This is a lot different than what I was previously making. However I love it, I had a conversation a while back that helped me change my view on sync. What I came to realize is I didn’t necessarily need to change who I am and what I create. So today I’m presenting a Latin style beat that I produced. If you all would be so kind to leave me some honest feedback. My biggest question for you all is do you believe it is sync ready? Why or why not? I made this a little different than a traditional beat it doesn’t have a normal song structure on purpose. I still plan to work on some cinematic projects but for now I want to focus on what I can get done now. So I can build my catalog. Hope you enjoy. Key questions: does it fit the style of music I was trying to convey. Still a little new to this genre and I feel like it may be missing a few elements. Based on your experience is this ready to pitch to a sync libary? How are the dynamics, does it need more “space” or spots with no noise? One of my biggest concerns with this is the flute melody is there anyway I could improve it, or does it fit? I was trying my best not to over complicate it. Finally, how does the mix sound? I have done some basic eq and very little effects it sounded good to me. However I would love to hear your thoughts on it. https://s.disco.ac/lyyeoxtjqmiw

I was pretty much feeling how your pic in the intro was showing.

@Kaleb Blackard Look forward to hearing it.
🎤Check out the first ep of the Sync Vault Podcast!🎤
@Dawn Dineen reminded me that the podcast is overdue for release, so I did a quick and dirty edit of it yesterday afternoon, and I'm posting it this morning. It's a great convo with a great guy so I hope you all get some value out of it. The video is still unlisted, so please do not share beyond the community. I will be wrapping up editing this week and officially launching it asap so be on the look out. If you have any feedback of how this can be improved (bad edits, timing, flow, etc.) please let me know and 'll be sure to fix it up! Let me know what you think of my interview with Jim Leavitt from House of Sync.

@Glenn Macrae The thing that stuck out the most to me, was putting heart and soul into whatever you are doing. Not punching a clock or meeting a deadline (trying to create a track to meet a brief) That is kind of how I compose. I always just splash my "Me" paint all over the canvas as I am playing in my studio. Doing beats, sounds, feelings, etc. It always seems like my mood and what I am going through alters my output.
