What I really like about the message: it reflects a lot of what I have learned on my own healing journey. Yes, we do have to look at our trauma. Yes, we have to face it and move through it. There is no shortcut around that. But we are not defined by what happened to us.

In the end, we still have a choice. A choice about who we want to be, how we relate to our past, and what story we continue to tell ourselves. That freedom matters.
