Whoever is more humble, gets the sale
Most people think being humble is about "thinking less of yourself."
But after some thinking, being humble really means "thinking of yourself less."
Read that again.
So when we're on a sales call or a sales conversation
The person who cares most about the prospect wins
Even Alex Hormozi says that
How do you think of yourself less?
Get curious, look deep into their eyes, find out what they like, what they strive for, what they fear, what comforts them
Whilst in the back of your mind, having the intention of solving their problem through the offer you're selling
80/20 rule: 80% of the call, your mental and verbal energy should be focused on them (asking questions and so on)
20% of the call, your mental and verbal energy should be focused on you (pitching, introducing yourself, and so on)
Also, all of this has resulted from my study on the top salespeople I've trained. Ones that are making 10k+
They all have this natural ability, it seems (which you can practice and master, so not natural) to care for others
It goes back to what Jesus taught: love your neighbour as you love yourself
Be humble.
