I'm currently working on my 2nd degree black belt. in addition to the martial arts there are physical requirements to sign off on before I can test. started completing them a week ago and yesterday I completed the last one allowing me to test this fall meaning I don't have to wait 6 months for the next test.
sub 50 minute 5 mile run
2000 jumping jacks straight
100 push-ups in 2.5 minutes
163 situps in 3 minutes
also raced my JROTC unit up a mini mountain yesterday (1 mile trail to the top) and won.
I'm sore and feel good about it. I think the only thing not sore rn is my biceps
