Beyond!
Today at 12 AM, I finished this semester's courses. Although not all of my grades are in yet, I’ve managed to score 80% or higher in all my classes.
Here’s a tip I learned from YouTube that helped me get into a flow state:
First, the 25-5 method (which I read about in a book)—work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break, repeating the cycle until the task is complete.
Second, and most importantly (which I learned from YouTube), the break must be less stimulating than the assignment—it should produce less dopamine. Absolutely no scrolling on social media of any kind. Instead, walk around a bit or do a quick chore. The goal is to make returning to the task feel exciting. This increases engagement and improves the likelihood of entering a flow state. And once you’re in it, nobody says you have to stop at the 25-minute mark!
These two strategies helped me IMMENSELY, and I hope they do the same for you if you ever find yourself in a time crunch.
