I'm more grouchy than Groucho, but thought that intro might be worth trying.
I just "found" this Travis guy a couple of days ago and heard enough within 3 minutes to understand...I gotta learn more...he's speaking my language!
I have been selling for 50 years (As an 8-year-old, I was recruited for door-to-door with Fuller Brush and even won an award for most sales... imagine that job today?)
Long story short, selling what people now call High-ticket coaching and programs since before they were called "High-ticket". I'm burnt out, fed up, and overly cranky on the 25 sales calls per week routine (selling for other people), BUT...
I love the actual coaching side of the business.
I've helped other coaches go from being frustrated and wanting to quit to closing up to 80% of their sales calls. (Literally a recent testimony). I personally loved closing without sales calls for some of the companies I worked for over the years, (Front of the room pitch), but the companies I work with now don't want me to teach that. More about that next.
I currently work with two different companies, including a 500-person group, as their sales coach.
Now, with Ronin, I'd like to figure out a way to have more companies (Usually the marketing/lead gen coaches and agencies) have me teach their members how to sell. The 2 mentioned above that hired me were originally coached by me and watched me close sales for them.
* Both are closing down the coaching sides of their businesses.
I think a well-trained collaborative community like this may be just what the doctor ordered!
Or I could just sit around and pout and overindulge in bourbon for a few weeks.
Additionally, I have questions:
Is there a glossary around here for terms like "Beamer" "PSM" and "Tapper" - I think I'm figuring out "Magic Trick" in Ronin terms. I'm sure I'll catch on as I watch and catch up on the content.
