Roamin Ronin - Hey I'm new
Hey everyone, How's it going? I joined last week after a friend introduced me to this group. I'm Annabelle, I'm a direct response copywriter and I have a hyper fixation on personal development, entrepreneurship (and let's be straight, making money). Like many other marketers, I'm questioning why I'm making others bank but I'm still stuck on a treadmill. Plus I'm 40 next year so I'm throwing my midlife crisis into being really fucking successful. Outside of work I've got two young kiddo's, and what I really want to do is move to a farm so I can feed chickens and watch the sun go down knowing that tomorrow, we can wake up whenever we want. WLTM other offer owners, freelancers and anyone who wants to cheer each other on. If you're in the wellness and relationship niches (and just generally) I have an abundance of ideas and I'm happy to share them. PS I set up a gpt and her name is Roamin Ronin, I thought you might appreciate this context.
Roamin Ronin - Hey I'm new
Newbie + Auction partners
Again thanks @Travis Sago for the opportunity. This is my second time creating this intro the first sucked and I didnt get to say what I wanted to say and ask. Ronin newbie here. Glad to be here AGAIN 😀When I left Ronin the first time the idea of the partner stuff stuck with me even though a lot of the other stuff was confusing but I understand it a lot more now. Below are some things I would like anyones advice or help with please. 1- I already see what I want to do based on everything I know from the FIRE group and from the outside looking in after my Ronin free trial had ended. What I want to focus on is Auction Partners. With that said, what training should I start with? Right now I only have the Pop-Up Auction training. What else should go along with that, such as a supplemental training or a “need-to-know” type of training? Or is it only that training? 2- I do have a person with a 7k email list, mostly built from Substack and LinkedIn. I’m trying to get her to bring all those people over to Skool, start running auctions, and monetize in other ways. She also needs to improve her relationship with them to boost engagement. She has a low-ticket offer that I helped her sell. She sold three of them at $500 each using Mitch Miller’s (the copywriter in Thailand) sales page template, which I then pieced together with AI. She also has a high-ticket offer that ranges from $5k to $17k. Her niche and offers are centered on helping people get to the root of what is sabotaging their results, success, and life without relying on surface-level approaches like journaling or therapy. The low-ticket product is a self-paced, DIY-style program, while the high-ticket offer is delivered with a certified doctor. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. I should also add that I ran a test to see if her audience would respond to a different, money-driven offer. Basically, I asked if they would be interested in learning how to increase their profits by 25%, like one of her other clients did. That test only generated about 1 response. The open rate was decent, but I cannot remember the exact number. The results overall were poor.
Taking the Leap Into Freedom, One Ronin Step at a Time!
Hey Ronin friends 👋🏾, I’m super Stoked to be a part of this community. Just joined so I’m trying to find some direction but I’m super excited to be on this journey alongside you all. Currently serving in the National Guard and counting down the days to retirement in three years and dive into full-time freedom. Travis’s approach of minimal work and no client headaches is exactly what I’m after. The idea of choosing who to work with and when? That’s the dream I'm looking for. Picked up 'Make Em Beg To Buy From You' (great book by the way) and ended up buying a few copies to share with some friends. I found it incredibly insightful. Also, big shout out to Tony T for his book 'Deals Over Clients' it gave me a better understanding of what Travis teaches. I have some ideas for potential partnerships, but I’m navigating how best to structure them. I’d love to bounce ideas off this community and collaborate on exciting ventures together. Looking forward to connecting and learning from everyone! Cheers, Tan
Ronin Lite?
So this is the 3rd day of my Looksies Week if I'm counting right. I've been hesitant to introduce myself because I didn't think I fit here, however, I love new ideas and I adore authenticity and I have never liked serving masters. I create community/educational resources of various kinds. I've exchanged many hours of my time for intangible rewards. NO REGRETS. But I'm at a different part of my life and I'd like a few more tangible rewards, thank you very much. And I just had a Roninish idea in the middle of typing a Facebook message. Hmmmm... My current project is a total makeover of a community resource I created in 2020. I was acquiring meat rabbits to breed and I used Google Maps to keep up with breeders. Rabbit breeders can be a skittish lot. Especially meat rabbit breeders. Rabbits burrow in the wild so maybe it makes sense that rabbit people tend to hide. There are organizations that will go after and shut down rabbitries because of cages and things. Not kidding. Anyhow that means that sourcing rabbits is not super easy. Loads of rabbit people communicate through Facebook groups because, well there are lots of people there even though Facebook hates people who breed animals for sale. The list of forbidden words is so long now that normal posts are frustrating to write. Funny thing is that map took on a life of its own. It kept growing and helping people and built me a mountain of goodwill within the community. The new one will be mine, not dependent on the vagaries of Google, have functions we all wanted (searching by breed) and the pins will be added and maintained by the users, not me. HUGE. Dead pins are also an issue so every pin has an expiration date and free pins have the shortest, of course. The premium pin idea was just to cover the costs when I got going. Then I hit a stubborn snag getting Stripe hooked up and I went searching for solutions and, oh, look over there, I could use that shopping cart solution and gently offer some treats along with the pin. Rabbit T-shirt, anyone? In the manner of the waiter just happening by your table towards the end of your meal with the dessert cart.
