The Good, Bad and UGLY of a $174,000 Fun Auction
HUGE THANK YOU to @Nick Roberts and @Marcus Karl for this candid interview. They did NOT sugar coat or gloss over the Bad or the Ugly of this auction. Spoiler alert: Everyone still had fun and $174,000 in sales with $50,000 cash collected. There are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of creators and influencers with 5,000 or less followers on their FB profiles, Insta, YT channels, Email lists, X, Pinterest that could... Use the same EXACT method that Nick and Marcus did. And it doesn't have to be perfect. Why? Because the auction format is SO FORGIVING! Let's make this a LEARNING thread and ASK any questions you may have! Rooting For Ya, Travis PS I double-dawg dare ya to watch this and NOT lose sleep tonight! The WORLD is OURS! At the end... I gave them a tip to bring in another $100k. In ONE WORD. Then I showed them how to cash flow this for $1 million. PPS If you got anything out of this interview and breakdown, please drop some appreciation for Markus and Nick. They really gave this their all and went into detail!

Thank you @Travis Sago @Marcus Karl @Nick Roberts for doing this. My biggest takeaway was asking people to invite their friends to win the auction for free. That is brilliant. P.S. I was watching Travis at 1x, Marcus at 1.25x, and Nick at .75x :P
How to auction an affiliate product?
I’ve got an AI UGC video course we’ve been pushing inside my eCom community as an affiliate. It sells for $149. We’ve made a couple of sales. Nothing crazy, but the interest is there. So I’m thinking of auctioning it. And that’s where I’m stuck. Why would someone pay more than $149? What would you stack into the Hero Package to make that feel like a steal at $300… $500… maybe even $1K? Should I get the course creator’s blessing first? Or is it better to sell, prove the model, then partner later? Curious where the edges are. If you’ve sold someone else’s offer this way (or thought about it), I’d love to know what you’d include, how you’d frame it, and what you’d do differently now.

Auction offers ?
I'm following Travis's advice and get my butt on the bicycle more and more lately ... I've lost momentum with the whole book marketing (Which I'll pick up very soon again!). I'm considering doing Auctions as well as 1-on-1 follow ups for those running webinars and doing challenges. Regarding Auctions, I wanted to know what sort of offers/ thing is usually auctioned off? I know you can auction pretty much anything but I'd like to have a starter list so that when I have a conversation with someone (and I have a few on the fire right now) I know what I can suggest. I also know that the best is to not have the person I'd run the auction for to have to create anything new or to give them too much work to do. Here's what I have already: - Templates (like Travis did a while ago in his group). - VIP days (if this is something that's already been sold?) - 1-on-1 training (like Matt did with his 26k auction?) - Advertising something to someone's list (like it was with James's auction? I have to admit I didn't follow what was that REAL GOOD bonus he offered). - Bonus chapter in a book? Anyway if you have ideas or things that worked please add them in the comments, it'd be great to have a place to refer to for Ronins :)

@John Bejakovic Can you DM me? I will receive an email from Skool. Will check my email later and match your name and give you access. Somebody has shared my sheet link somewhere and I get a lot of spam requests. Sorry for the trouble.

First Auction Win: Wrapping it up at $174,000 in sales 🫠
@Marcus Karl and I are wrapping up our first auction this weekend. I was positive it would do well. But damn... I didn't think it would go this well. Believe it or not, this is my first time making money on a campaign! QLL deal in May: Flop Poll tap deal in June: Mega flop Auction in December: *Great Success!* (Borat voice) All I needed was a damn win. Now we're working on two more auction campaigns!

Congrats :) Happy to see you win.
Old Group Warm Up for Auction
Saw where somebody mentioned doing a last comment style auction... Thinking about doing this in a friend's group of like 60k that's kinda died off this year. Creator/influencer space, so easy group to go work in. Do a couple pre-posts for the last comment. Run it for about 24 hours. that should punch the group up a bit. Then a couple days later start the pre-sell for auction. Any holes in my logic? Also welcome to alternative ideas. She's got a bunch of courses sitting in her back pocket we can use and some saas and her time is pretty valuable. Oh, and she offered me 60%, so .... yeah.
