Good morning/afternoon Gents During this journey, I realized that smartwatches aren’t allowed because they’re too casual. And I, as it happens, always wore one! Even though I’d replaced the strap with a leather one. But I’ve found the solution to this dilemma! Introducing the smartwatch from ONE Watch, a Portuguese company! At first sight, you might think it’s a regular watch, but it’s actually a smartwatch. This is a great advantage for men to continue wearing nice watches, Because when you have a woman in your life (Mommy in my case) and you don’t answer the phone in the first 5 seconds of the ring (because you didn’t feel the vibration or it was on silent), you have to calm her down since she’s worried that “I didn’t pick up soon enough” Thanks for reading, and good luck with your studies! I know it is spring, Saiurday mornings generally start with mowing the lawn, I wore an old Henley while I mowed that fit me well when I bought it. Now I drown in it. I finished mowing, washed up and went out to eat a quick lunch and then do the weekly grocery trip at Meijer. Once we finished that that we went home ro put up the groceries. Then we went to Cabella,s to nick up some camping gear Robin had ordered followed by a light supper at Chile Verde. We used to eat at this restaurant’s original location in North West Columbus but he moved north east to the Polaris area while we moved south to Lincoln Village so we have not been there in years. The owner did recognize us and we chatted briefly as we left with him saying we needed to visit him more because it had been a few years since. We had seen him. I am glad we stopped in and saw him, but what use to be a quick trip is now a twenty mile trip. Today’s outfit includes some black ankle boots, green dungarees, a fed polo, a green jacket and green linen cap.

Well I’ve had these for many years, 8-9? They were my daily drivers for the majority of that time at work. I came from making yearly Johnston and Murphy purchases after they wore out or fell apart, and got sick of that cycle. Admittedly I knew little of rotation, shoe trees, and good care in general apart from how to clean and shine them. So last December I sent them in for a sole change and reconstruction. They came originally with a hard, semi-lug type sole. I had them changed to a Danite sole. The reconstruction on the bottom looks very good. What I’m disappointed with is how the uppers came back. I was hoping the leather would be restretched and look much cleaner. I’ve heard of instances where that was case. But alas, my neglect wasn’t remedied. So my question is, how would you fix these to look less like the tired, worn out specimens that they are? Is there hope? I’ve seen videos of guys steaming/ironing the leather to reduce the creasing but I’m not sure if these aren’t too ‘gone’.
