Watches and Accessories
One of my hobbies is woodworking. Normally I have to make repairs or improvements around the home and don't have time to make something for myself. But last winter, I had a chance to make a box to hold my accessories. The stuff I saw online was not what I wanted. I wanted somewhere to hold my watches (I only have 3, but some room for more), rings, tie clips, necklace, and glasses.
This is made from Sonokolin (Indonesian rosewood). Finished with tung oil.
In Korea the wood is sold in panels of smaller pieces of wood glued together. So you get a lot of variation from the cream-colored sap-wood and the dark brown heart-wood.
It is not perfect, but I am satisfied. Before all my watches were in the small boxes they came in, and my other accessories were scattered in other places around the house. It is nice to have everything together.
