I read this today and thought this is something that my friend would post, albeit with more grounded language and a fashion focus on taking charge of your life and what others think is irrelevant. Plus, it’s got a little Harvey Specter mixed in. 99% of the time you play small because of what “they” might think…
…the “they” only exists in your head.
And the other 1% of the time?
The people you’re afraid of judging you are the same people you look at in real life and think:
“What the hell happened to this person?”
Most of the people talking crap about you trying to win…
Trying to improve…
Trying to build a great life…
…are real-life losers contributing virtually nothing of value to anyone.
Definitely not to you.
So of course they hate you.
You’d probably hate you too if you were them.
But you’re not them.
You’re you.
…and here you are censoring yourself and playing small for those clowns?
Think about it honestly…
What do these people actually contribute to society?
What do they contribute to your life?
“They” are the skid marks in society’s underwear.
Their life is punishment enough.
Remember that.
Winning big and being happy is the ultimate “screw you” you could ever deliver.
So go do that.
And understand this too…
When you go build a kick ass life…
Other people see what’s possible for themselves.
There’s real nobility in that.
