Sometimes Function is King!

Full disclosure…my goal early this morning was just to top off the water in the steer’s tank and rearrange things a little in the loafing shed. It is a little cooler this morning, so I could have thrown on a mesh ball cap, but in a nod to style, I donned my straw Stetson fedora. Because I usually end up with my feet wet, I just slipped on my knee-high mud/hunting boots. The Cabela’s cargo shorts are way too big due to my weight loss, but I don’t intend to wear my good shorts to mess around the steer lot. Put on the first graphic t-shirt I came across (thank you to Brian McGuire, I don’t feel excessive shame!😁).

Wife and I are heading down to Kansas City later today. I promise I will be cleaned up, but as the temps will still be in the 90F, ‘s, I will intentionally be in shorts…and probably a Brooks Brothers polo.
