Pants length

I bought pants to match a jacket I had. The exact pants they have their model wearing on the website for the jacket. I loved the way it looked. I'm thinking of wearing this for a wedding in South Beach in July that's supposed to be somewhat casual. Are the pants at the right height? I think they are ok but my wife says they are too high.

The jacket is pulling in some of the warmth from the lights so it looks slightly different but it's the exact same color.
