This outfit is another attempt at functional touring, unpredictable temperature style. Same grey 5.11 Tactical jeans, a plum colored cotton polo from Dillards, with collar stays to sharpen it a little, a tan belt from Anson, and my new presentation, a linen jacket from Lands End. The jacket was a last minute thrift shop acquisition. It is actually double-breasted, which I’m not thrilled with, so I tend to wear it open most of the time. Even as it is, I think it elevates my traveler/casual look fairly nicely. I’m certainly going to be on the hunt for a nicer linen sport coat. Lastly, I almost never take photos without my shoes, but in this case, I’m going to be wearing hikers due to today’s anticipated terrain. Oh, and I can’t say enough for the little travel steamer I thrifted several weeks ago. It’s not a steam iron, but it does a great job on casual linen!
