Is there something off with this suit?

A little bit of back story. This is my first MTM suit. I've had it for close to seven years and has escaped the thrift store a few times now, even though, in those seven years, my weight has fluctuated a bit and the suit didn't fit for several of those years. I probably kept it because of how expensive it was. $600 at the time.

I made a bunch of first time mistakes. The jacket is slim fit. I chose too many options (surgeons cuffs, hacking pockets, ticket pockets, etc. My biggest mistake was going to Men's Warehouse. Not a great experience.

Anyway, I'm getting ready to donate to the local thrift store and the suit is on the roster again so I took it out and tried it on. For the most part, it fits. It will need a few adjustments in the jacket waist and hem. The pant legs need to be lengthened a couple inches (flood pants were in fashion when it was made) and that should fix that.

Something still feels off about the suit but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm not sure if it's just because I want a new suit and am subconsciously making up excuses to get the new suit, or if there is really something off about this suit. I don't know, so I turn to you Gentlemen for advice. Is there something off about this suit? Should I thrift it or do you think a tailor could fix what's wrong?
