My wife was getting new glasses, and I heard the Optician / Sales Person say "You (general 'you', not wife specifically) need some color on your face. Everyone goes with safe glasses at first, but then they are boring." While this may be one opinion of someone selling glasses, I continued to pay attention to the specific suggestions and reasoning being offered. I had to give this person a chance, so I asked them to pick out some frames for me. My vision is not too bad except for reading small print up close, so I often go without glasses and then need to find some readers at random times. So, now I have a new fashion element, and I can read my watch much better now. How do you feel about letting advisors choose things for you? How do you think about glasses in your outfit?
