Black or Brown Shoes 👞🧐

It’s the age-old question we ask ourselves as intentionally well-dressed gentlemen: black shoes or brown shoes?

My outfit was a Navy casual collared shirt (DXL) and dark brown pants (Duluth Trading Co). Now I would usually wear black shoes and a matching belt with this outfit, but my 23-year-old daughter said that I should wear brown shoes. So I took her advice, but I’d like to know the group's thoughts, too.
