2026-04-25 - Daily Style Stand-Up: The Hawaiian Shirt...

Today's Daily Style Stand-Up item is one that some may not take seriously, but actually has a somewhat long but very storied tradition.

In my opinion, much like suspenders, many people have a negative connotation with this item as a direct result of people doing it wrong, so to speak...

When done properly, a Hawaiian shirt can be part of a surprisingly elegant casual outfit.

Today's example is a navy blue and floral, cotton seersucker offering from Polo Ralph Lauren. Interestingly, this shirt was the last item purchased among the items in this particular outfit. It's looks almost as if this shirt was specifically created to complement items already in my closet...
