How to defuse annoying customers with AI poems 😂
New customer service strategy just dropped!
Thought you guys would find this funny. I have done this a few times now and it was worked every time.
In this case, I had a really unreasonable customer - they ordered A5 without it expecting to be so small, despite the size being advertised. They refused my offer of being sent another one at a discount and are insistent on being offered a free refund, despite it saying in my policies i cant refund for change of mind.
I put this into ChatGPT, and got the following poem
A Poem for Your Print Predicament
You ordered a print, A5 in size,
A lovely piece, a visual prize.
It said quite clear, in bold display,
The size you’d get, in a clear, fair way.
But now you find it far too small,
Not quite the grand print on your wall.
We offered help, a kind discount,
To make things right — a fair amount!
But still you ask the full amount back,
Though change of mind is not a crack
We cover here — as stated plain
In storewide policy (not just in vain).
Each print is made with love and care,
To order, just for you — quite rare!
Refunds for whims we can’t afford,
We’re not a warehouse or big store board.
So while we can’t grant your full request,
We tried our best, and then some — yes!
If you change your mind down the line,We’re still right here with art divine.
I normally save this for after a bit of back and forth if they really aren't being reasonable. As you can see in the image, it does work 😂
