Etsy tags predicament

Hey,

Typical me, I rushed into getting listings put on without putting serious thought into the tags. I now have nearly 350 listings where I'm not entirely happy with the tags. The tags are relevant to the listings but I've repeated words a lot, where I've subsequently learnt they should all be different.

In hindsight I think I should have used 8 key tags for all listings and then 5 specific tags for each poster. Mine are more like, 'Italy poster', 'italy print', 'travel print'.

On the upside I've finally started making a few sales, so I must be doing something right 😀

Do I,

Keep the tags as they are, and not waste days fixing. And put better tags going forward

2. Manually go through and update them all.

3.Use 3rd party software to help. I'm thinking Vela may work?

4. Update the descriptions on all current listings to include tags in there, as it's easier to bulk update the descriptions than tags. Then for new listings going forward put better tags. Would key words in descriptions work just as well as in the tag section?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
