Integrating Learning
So in my professional capacity I’m a therapist ( and breathwork / contrast facilitator who specializes in nervous system health , particularly for women and couples. Up until this year I’ve used the Poly Vagal Theory in most of my mapping with clients. But this year I’ve felt a disconnect from it and leaned more into the Neurovisceral Integration Model (NIM). The reason why I’ve chosen to use the Physiology First training is that it fits so perfectly with NIM. In my personal life I’m a former competitive bodybuilder and full time mom of three. When my son was being assessed for ADHD I also went through the screening myself . To which both of us landed the adhd label. Learning how to navigate the individual nervous systems within our home as well as the collective nervous system of the home has been my number one priority .
I’m just extremely passionate about the nervous system and how we show up in relationship to ourselves and others . ✌🏼
