Integrating Learning
So in my professional capacity I’m a therapist ( and breathwork / contrast facilitator who specializes in nervous system health , particularly for women and couples. Up until this year I’ve used the Poly Vagal Theory in most of my mapping with clients. But this year I’ve felt a disconnect from it and leaned more into the Neurovisceral Integration Model (NIM). The reason why I’ve chosen to use the Physiology First training is that it fits so perfectly with NIM. In my personal life I’m a former competitive bodybuilder and full time mom of three. When my son was being assessed for ADHD I also went through the screening myself . To which both of us landed the adhd label. Learning how to navigate the individual nervous systems within our home as well as the collective nervous system of the home has been my number one priority . I’m just extremely passionate about the nervous system and how we show up in relationship to ourselves and others . ✌🏼

Happy New Moment!
Dear PF Community, On the occasion of the Gregorian calendar marking a new year, I pray that you all find the strength to choose growth over the illusion of certainty and authenticity over dictate! Unlike events like the solstice, January first does not mark the end or beginning of a natural, observable cycle, but instead serves as yet another tool of standardization to facilitate systemic processes rather than emulate natural rhythms. As someone living in Central Europe—a region that is currently still plunged in cold and darkness—I can sense a lot of pressure in the people around me. They are expected to deliver a “fresh start” and go all in on their New Year’s resolutions, while their bodies want to match an environment that suggests deceleration. Winter is a time of introspection that invites us to transform internally—like a slumber in which we PROCESS and RECOVER from everything that has accumulated in our system. So that when spring comes, we can ACT with determination and integrity. I don’t think it is the season that causes seasonal depression, but rather our need to deny our seasonal instincts. Instead of giving in to the urge to rest and directing our energy toward more inwardly focused, restorative work (both on a personal level and on that of our community), we struggle on, playing the role of dispensable productivity machines. It is the voice that calls from afar that keeps us going through all kinds of frightening territory. However, we mustn’t forget that it is small, steady steps that will get us to our destination. In an era of overwhelm and detachment—where we know more about a political conflict on the other side of the globe than we do about the life of our immediate neighbour—I want to choose moments over big dates of imaginary significance. I want to choose overlooked but profoundly impactful things like breathing and body perception over alleged milestones. Every small moment, every small decision, is an opportunity to shape our life, shape the world. Hear the call of your mission, and hear the call of nature.
Happy New Moment!

Primitive Reflex Integration
Hi team. Wondering if primitive reflex integration will be a thing. Since I’m working primarily with adults , I’d like to create something using strength training protocols… then I came across this reel, which I’m now confident I use as proof my idea is valuable https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPpxo5gkQUS/?igsh=MWxyNW14aXMweWE1cw==

This is what the future of health looks like 🧬
Team, I saw some loudmouth, arrogant, science influencer dude going off about how "simple" health is, and how lazy everyone in the community is when it comes to nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle. This is exactly whose ass we're here to kick😎 Health isn't simple, it's personal. And the public isn't lazy, they're lost, and looking for guidance. This is the level of support we provide our members at Physiology First. We are building the most comprehensive and personalized health optimization program in the world, and I'm proud and grateful to have you all on the team as we work to shift the paradigm of health for a new generation. Through our affiliate model Physiology First members will be able to offer personalized cookbooks and training plans based on individual metabolic data like the one below. It's time to shift the blame away from the families and kids in our community, and commit to being the best in the world at what we do. Excited to see the comprehensive templates for personalized health like the one we created for one of our Manchester members below continue to transform lives through our affiliate model and our global scale initiative beginning with our London expansion🌎 Personalized Cookbook from Physiology First: https://amy-personal-cookbook-physiologyfirst.replit.app/

Oh my gosh these cookbooks would be game changers if they are personalized to people’s data and physiology. No one size fits all approach to anything . Love it
The Next Generation Fund: Welcome to our new members!
Team, As mentioned in our last webinar The Next Generation Fund is going to be a massive force for growth for Physiology First. As we prepare to launch our London campus I'll be recruiting leaders from the health and performance world to join the Physiology First team and strengthen the movement as we support and strengthen their practices in return. I want to welcome @Steve Wakefoose to the group. He's been a supporter for a long time and I'm grateful to have him on the platform, and in the community. I'd like to suggest a weekly social lounge where we don't have a specific webinar or topic but instead create space to connect, brainstorm, and support one another in our work. Any suggestions for times would be much appreciated. I'm most flexible between 1-4pm UK but am eager to hear what would work best for others. Excited to welcome these new leaders to the team! @Paula Langenbuch - I still owe you that info on sleep cycles🙂 @Joe Thomson @Cindy T. De Bonis - Looking forward to connecting 1-1 soon. I'll DM you! Thank you all for being part of the Physiology First movement and looking forward to growing our community through this new initiative!
