Hey there...Nervous System Besties!
This is a bestie community focused on understanding and regulating the nervous system. We ALL have experienced dysregulation... In an infant, the baby is crying. 😫 In a toddler it looks like a temper tantrum. 😡 In children it looks like a emotional meltdown. 😭 In a teenager it looks like anxiety, ADHD, depression or rebellion. 😵‍💫 In adults... it's a combination of all of the above. This gets activated in so many ways... Relationships with others... your family, friends, coworkers or your partner. Changes in environment, routine, relationships, identity activate dysregulation, especially break ups, separation and divorce. Anxiety. Emotional swings. Overthinking. Shutdown. Identity confusion. The adult baby body is crying out... "Somebody Help!" In a nut shell🥜... more straight to the point... These are nervous system responses, and the body and brain can change, but the body first needs to feel safe. 🤗 There is something here for all kinds of peeps...🐣 Self Helpers Introverts Extroverts Human Behavior Geeks Leaders & Followers Including... Teens Ladies Mamas All of the above! Inside this community we will focus on: • Nervous system education • Somatic stabilization practices • Understanding attachment patterns • Rebuilding identity from a more aligned and regulated state This is a casual coffee style environment... sprinkled with a deep philosophical learning... designed to help you understand more about who you are, and naturally shift, moving from survival mode meltdowns into maturity and self-leadership. 🦾 I'm glad you're here... Meet Nervous System Bestie Shelby!
EXCITING!🥳 New Courses and Ask Me Anything Calls 🧠🫀🫁
I started this Skool group and had people joining, then I paused. I couldn't figure out why. But when I stopped questioning myself why... I picked up my laptop, canceled my scheduled coaching calls, updated my courses. I was trying to force myself to do what I thought people wanted. I lost sight of my own vision, I was afraid that I couldn't have it my way... and that is an important part. I need to trust my intuition more and more. I coach this, I need to lead with it. That is one the biggest hurdles for me, listening and responding to my inner voice. Then giving myself permission to ask for what I want. With Skool I have the opportunity to build this how I roll and not feel like I have to perform. Like many others, performance anxiety, people pleasing to a fault... has only led me to digging myself a hole. So there will be some changes here... 1. I put new courses for you to view, please take a peak. 2. I will go live for "Ask Me Anything" calls, so if you have a question... message me and I can go live with the topic and record the call. Then post it in the Courses where you can watch it on your own time. I am here to build a library for other people to benefit from and enjoy. I am going to do this the way I personally started online coaching work. I sat quietly in the background, watching and observing when my intuition called me. I can be a bit of a perfectionist, afraid of standing out or upsetting someone... so I take baby steps to build confidence. There is more to this work than it looks and I don't want to overwhelm you. So let's tip toe in together... all you need to do is explore the courses or message me any nervous system question that you have. I hope you find this group helpful, interesting and educational.
