Do your eyes feel strained or relaxed? 🤷‍♀️ Take a moment and ask... are my eyes scanning or resting? 🧐 👀 Try this... Let them land somewhere and notice your breath. Do you know your skin system is what tells your brain you are moving?😶 Moving quickly is a way to feel safer in your body... for some. How would you know that moving fast was ACTUALLY a stress response? 🤷‍♀️ Try this → do the next thing slower, much slower. How does this feel when you consciously slow down? 🤔 Does it feel natural and bring more awareness? 🤗 Or does it irritate you and make you anxious? 😫 Slowing down prepares you for rest & digest... 🧠🫀🫁🍔 And if that doesn't seem to shift anything you can always do the Somatic Compression Reset... 🦾 To learn what that is... I am really thankful you are here. ❤️ Shelby started working with me after a break up, had a history of disordered eating, struggles with food noise and control which had lead to weigh gain... here is some of her journey. Magda started working with me and also went through a turbulent break up, she is using my #1 tool religiously and finding tremendous personal progress... she is here to share, hoping to encourage others to take the same path. I will be leading LIVE demos of this #1 tool on Fridays for the Month of April, check the calendar for times, or your email for the 24 hour reminder. This Friday it will be 11am MST, April 17th. Notice your tongue... 👅 What did you catch it doing? 🫢 Pressing up 👆 Pressing down 👇 Pushing forward 👉 Laying at the back 👈 What does your tongue do behind closed doors... when no one can see it. 🫣 Unclench your tongue...(yes, it was doing something). Your sneaky tongue is ALWAYS doing something... 😶 Now notice... Did it change anything? Tongue Posture is important for nervous system regulation, as it is connected to your BREATHING! 🫁

@Sommer Dodd relaxing your tongue is a very deep way of relaxing on the inside. There will be a whole chapter about the tongue in the future. :)
