Hey everyone! I’m Byron, and I’m really happy to be here. I’m 23 years old and based in the Philly market.
I’ve grown up around mobile home parks—my family has five of them, about 700 lots total, so it’s kind of been part of my life since I was a kid doing odd jobs and helping out. But right now, I’m starting from scratch on my own and want to learn more about creative financing to acquire my first community.
I studied finance at Penn State and spent the last year in New York City brokering mobile home park deals to learn valuation and general CRE knowledge, I realized I want to be on the ground as an operator. So I moved into a small single-wide in our smallest park—just six lots—and I’m learning the ropes firsthand about management, infill, and selling homes.
My big goal is to build my own portfolio from zero to honor my family's legacy and eventually even outgrow what my family’s done, but in a way that really focuses on providing good, affordable housing and being a landlord people can count on.
I’m here to learn and to connect with folks who have been in the trenches. I’m hoping to pick up the skills to make that happen and to do my part in tackling the affordable housing challenge. Really looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning from your experiences!
P.S. I like Packers football, fitness, faith, and play alto saxophone!
