I finally did it. I closed on my first mobile home park in Nebraska. Multiple offers sent, in and out of contract on several deals, two extended closing dates… and I finally did it. Wild journey… lots of failures along the way that I’ll share more about… but I did it. And raised 100% of the capital needed. I couldn’t be more proud. Huge thanks to @Ryan Narus and @Michael Pansolini for their mentorship program, community, and most of all their friendship. Park #2 is not too far away…

From the time you started looking how long did it take you to close on your first Mobile Home Park?
For me it took approximately 1 year and 3 failed deals before I closed - would love to hear from the group?

I think a year? Maybe less? But I also did the group coaching to expedite my process.

What is the one thing you find in diligence that typically makes your want to drop the deal?
For me it's really tough tenant base....what about you?

Build a park?
Does anyone have experience building a park from scratch with a raw piece of land? I’m being asked to advise on an interesting project.
